Position Summary We are seeking a

BILINGUAL

(ENGLISH/SPANISH) compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide trauma-informed care to individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will support daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and meaningful community inclusion. Key Responsibilities Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities Collaborate with supervisors, team members, families, and external providers Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold individual rights at all times Implement goals outlined in Individual Service Plans (ISP/IHP/Plan of Care) Accurately collect and document progress data Support positive behaviors and development of life skills Assist with personal hygiene, daily routines, and overall functioning Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment Follow and implement behavior support plans as directed Attend required training's, meetings, and professional development sessions Administer medications (if trained and authorized) Provide First Aid/CPR in emergency situations Complete incident reports in accordance with agency guidelines Transport individuals to appointments and community activities as needed Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols Assist with meals and dietary needs when applicable Support participation in community outings and scheduled activities Communicate updates, concerns, and observations to supervisors Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or GED (required) Medication Administration certification (if applicable) CPR and First Aid certification Bloodborne Pathogens and Safety Training Individual Rights training Behavior Management / NCI certification (as required) What We're Looking For Compassionate, patient, and dependable individuals Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to person-centered care and inclusion Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

Pay:

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
