Personal care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence

Mobility:

Helping with ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercises, and using assistive devices like wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, or canes

Meals:

Preparing meals and helping with feeding

Transportation:

Taking clients to appointments, the grocery store, and other important places

Medication:

Assisting with medication preparation and administration, and reminding clients of appointments

Housekeeping:

Keeping the house clean and doing laundry

Companionship:

Offering company and encouraging socialization and participation in community activities

Communication:

Communicating with medical professionals about the patient care plan and reporting any unusual incidents or behavior

Safety:

Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment and addressing client needs with respect and attention to safety.
