Part-Time (Weekend Only) Position Summary Unity Developmental Disabilities Care Center, LLC (UDDCC) is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Weekend Overnight Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide overnight support to adults with developmental disabilities. The Caregiver/DSP is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of individuals during overnight hours while promoting dignity, independence, and person-centered care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide overnight supervision and ensure the safety of individuals receiving services. Complete routine safety checks and document observations throughout the shift. Assist individuals with toileting, repositioning, bathing, dressing, hygiene, and other personal care needs as needed. Respond appropriately to emergencies, behavioral concerns, or medical situations according to agency policies. Administer medications if certified and assigned. Complete accurate documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, and required logs. Follow each individual's ISP, Behavior Support Plan, Safety Plan, and medical protocols. Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning common areas. Prepare individuals and the home for the morning routine. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Communicate effectively with supervisors and incoming staff during shift change. Qualifications Must be at least 19 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to pass all required criminal background checks and state screenings. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Medication Aide certification preferred. Experience as a caregiver, DSP, CNA, home health aide, or in a related field is preferred but not required. Benefits Weekend-only schedule. $17.00 per hour. Paid training.
