In this vital role, you will support individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. Your energetic and positive approach will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for our clients. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing your skills in patient care and caregiving. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Support medication Reminder following care plans and DHHS regulations Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and proper infection control practice Document care activities accurately in compliance with agency policies and state regulations Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams Experience working within long-term care settings or social work environments is advantageous Join us to provide compassionate home care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
