• meaning it might be needed depending on the patient) Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and dignity. Follow prescribed protocols while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Provide specialized care including Alzheimer's and dementia care, memory care, end-of-life support, and hospice assistance to meet individual needs compassionately.
• Operate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices safely to prevent injury during mobility assistance.

Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, cooking nutritious meals, and maintaining a safe environment that promotes health and well-being. Follow home healthcare regulations and safety procedures during all patient interactions, including first aid and basic life support (CPR), ensuring readiness for emergencies. Requirements (

• meaning it might be needed depending on the patient) Experience working with and documenting medical records accurately is essential.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with patient transfers using appropriate techniques or equipment such as Hoyer lifts.

Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in hospice or dementia care are advantageous. Familiarity with home health care assistance standards, home & community care practices, and long-term care regulations is necessary. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for travel between patient locations.
