Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aide to provide essential in-home support and personal care to clients in a safe, respectful, and professional manner. In this role, you will help individuals maintain comfort, dignity, and independence while working closely with care teams and family members to support daily living needs. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting support. Assist clients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as appropriate. Support light housekeeping tasks such as tidying living areas, laundry, and meal preparation. Help clients with medication reminders in accordance with care plans and agency guidelines. Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor. Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting client independence and well-being. Follow established care plans, safety procedures, and infection control practices. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and relevant observations. Communicate professionally with clients, family members, and other members of the care team. Qualifications Current certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent credential, as required by state and local regulations. Prior experience providing in-home care, personal care, or support services preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to follow care instructions, maintain confidentiality, and work with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes as assigned. Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including assisting with mobility and lifting as needed.
