Chemist / Senior Organic Chemist - Small Molecule Synthesis About the Position ACS Scientific Inc. is seeking a full-time Chemist to join our team immediately. The role focuses on small molecule synthesis, including the preparation of new drug candidates and advanced building blocks, as well as conducting process research and scale-up activities. About ACS Scientific Inc. Founded in 2009, ACS Scientific Inc. is located in Berkeley Heights, NJ . We operate fully equipped organic synthesis and analytical laboratories, featuring Waters analytical HPLC, chiral HPLC, preparative HPLC, LCMS, and Biotage flash chromatography systems. Responsibilities Design and synthesize small molecules for drug discovery and SAR studies Perform process research and scale-up for APIs and intermediates Develop novel building blocks targeting important diseases and high-priority research areas Manage multiple research projects concurrently Qualifications Ph.D., Master's, or Bachelor's degree in chemistry, with 2-5 years of academic or industry experience in organic synthesis Expertise in synthetic methodology, multi-step synthesis, and total synthesis, with a proven record of solving complex synthetic challenges Proficiency with LCMS, HPLC, and NMR for reaction monitoring and compound identification Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a self-motivated, collaborative environment Must be located in the USA and legally authorized to work in the U.S. chemical industry How to Apply Please email your CV and research summary to:HR@acssci.com
