Description Carry out Day programing in the areas of physical care, recreational activities, self-help, social training, pre-vocational training,munity inclusion programming, and the development of functional and cognitive skills.
Organize and develop daily tasks in accordance with the individual's ISP oues and strategies.
Facilitate appropriate programming in areas of habilitation activities, prevocational training andmunity inclusion.
Familiarize yourself with assigned individuals ISP oues and strategies, and record the individual's daily progress towards those oues in the OTC's electronic record keeping system (Therap) in an appropriate and timely manner.
Provide responsiblemunity based activities to provide consumers with opportunities to develop interpersonal and social awareness skills.
Maintain an awareness of the needs of the individuals with disabilities, and immediately report any related concerns or emergencies directly to the supervisor.
Assist individuals served with daily needs including assisting individuals with feeding and changing needs.
Responsibility includes fullpliance with Danielle's Law and Stephen Komninos' Law.
Transport individuals with disabilities to and from residence and variousmunity outings, which may require beginning the work shift early or ending the work shift late.
Willingly and effectively cooperates with OTC, The Department of Human Services, The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and other licensing or state agency or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon request.
Other duties as assigned.
Driving individuals to and from their homes andmunity activities.
Responsible for administering prescribed medications to individuals served.
The schedule Varies as needed. When called in the Schedule would be 8:00am-4:00pm in Burlington County NJ Benefits Employee Assistance Program

High school diploma (or GED equivalent) required.
Driver's License valid in the state of NJ with a driving record acceptable to OTC Services and Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) Regulations. Must be driving for at least 3 years and have a full (not provisional or probationary) license. Must be 21 years of age.
Must be able to effectivelymunicate both verbally and written.
Ability to bend, lift and assist in physical transfer of individuals needing assistance.
Ability to drive large vehicles including non-ambulatory lift vehicles. Necessary Special Requirements Employee will be required toplete all clearances as necessary per regulatory requirements. Will perform all duties necessary to meet state approved objectives, federal Medicaid guidelines, Department of Human Services' guidelines and OTC Services' policies and procedures.
