Locations:
West Orange, Roselle, Cranford, Wayne, Totowa Heart to Heart Home Care is seeking professional, compassionate Direct Support Professionals who are enthusiastic about making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Non Probationary Driver's License and second form of ID Physical and PPD (within the last year) High School Diploma or Equivalent Job Description Direct Support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a Group Home setting. Provide support, transportation and assistance for each individual to enable her/him to complete daily routines in a safe, healthy, productive and dignified manner. This usually includes toileting, bathing, dressing, laundry, supervision of recreation. Encourages independence by providing both the opportunity and the appropriate levels of skill training for the individuals in categories such as self-care, household chores, social skills, recreation skills, etc.
