Adventure Mental Health, LLC is hiring Direct Support Profession in Hammonton, New Jersey. Must be experience in assistance with living skills, non-medical personal care such as: assisting in changing cloth and/or assisting clients with toilet duties. Other duties involve mentoring, arts and craft and other activities. DSP schedule must be flexible to work on weekends on either Friday and/or Saturday evenings between hours 3:00PM and 11:00PM. Direct Support Professionals are to assist individuals, one-on-one, with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. DSP's may provide supports at the comfort of the Individual Serve's home or by taking them out in the community increasing their independence. Overall Responsibilities and Duties Depending on Individual Serve Need Work with one-on-one with our Individuals providing support, supervision and guidance during skill building activities Develop and/or follow the individual's plan of care and treatment. Assist with daily living activities. Develop a rapport and cultivate a safe and supportive environment. Turn in all paperwork within deadlines according to Policy and Procedures Assist with educational games, projects and activities Qualifications and Skills High school diploma/GED required Ability to pass background fingerprinting check, central registry and drug test Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Compassionate about care and well-being of others Have physical capacity, ability/experience to meet participant needs Smart phone to download app requires to clock in/out with GPS and sent proof of work.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age High School Diploma / GED or college CPR/First Aid Certification (preferable or must complete prior working with individual serve and company will provide as an outside training) New Jersey State DHD DDD courses (preferable or must complete prior working with individual serve and company will provide as an outside training) or be willing to complete prior serving individuals Must have the emotional and maturity necessary to establish and maintain a professional work relationship
