Lead Direct Support Professional (Lead DSP) The Auve Center | Hawthorne, NJ Up to $25/hour | Full-Time & Part-Time Available Monday-Friday | Daytime Hours The Auve Center is an adult Day Habilitation program serving adults 21+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We are looking for an experienced Lead Direct Support Professional who is comfortable supporting individuals with higher and more complex support needs and is interested in growing into a leadership position. This is not an entry-level DSP role. Our Lead DSPs will often be paired with members who require a higher level of support, including individuals with severe intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral support needs, communication differences, and/or greater assistance with daily activities. We are looking for someone who is confident, patient, observant, dependable, and able to remain calm when a member is having a difficult day. Duties Support members with higher behavioral, communication, personal care, and daily living needs Assist with activities, community outings, life skills, and member goals Follow ISPs, behavior/support plans, safety procedures, and documentation requirements Model strong DSP practices and help support newer staff Work closely with program leadership and our clinical team Take on additional leadership responsibilities as the program grows Previous professional experience working with adults with IDD Experience with severe IDD and higher support needs strongly preferred Comfortable with behaviors, ADLs, and hands-on support Strong documentation and communication skills Reliable, patient, professional, and confident in a leadership role Growth & Compensation Up to $25/hour based on experience Bonus opportunities available Fast-track career path toward Program Manager Leadership opportunities as The Auve Center grows Monday-Friday daytime schedule We are looking for someone who wants more than another DSP position. Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
