Full Job Description Self-Directed Direct Support Professional Location:

Lawrenceville, NJ Make a Difference While Helping Someone Live Life to the Fullest! We are seeking two kind, patient, dependable, and self-directed employees to support a friendly and social woman with cerebral palsy who lives independently in her own home. She enjoys an active social life and loves getting out into the community, spending time on social media, playing cards, listening to Tim McGraw, watching TV, visiting with neighbors, and having dinner with her mom each evening. About the Position As a valued member of her support team, you will help her maintain her independence, participate in her favorite activities, and enjoy her daily routine. Responsibilities may include:

Providing companionship and friendly conversation Supporting community outings to the mall, Walmart, Farmer's Market, and other activities Assisting with daily routines and activities Encouraging independence and participation in the community Playing cards, watching TV, listening to music, and spending quality time together Supporting her active social life and visits with family and neighbors

Qualifications:

Willing to learn and follow individualized support needs

• Must be able to perform physical transfer (lift & pivot)
• Clear and patient communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience with Cerebral Palsy is preferred but no required - Training will be provided

• Monday through

Friday:

8am to 1pm

Saturday and Sunday:

8am to 1pm

Salary:

• $20.

00 perf hour

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
