Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Spanish-Speaking Position ALAY Home Care is seeking compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Spanish-speaking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey.

$21.40-$30.00 per hour

Location:

Various locations throughout New Jersey Responsibilities Provide compassionate and personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and daily routines. Provide companionship, guidance, and emotional support. Support individuals in participating in community activities and attending appointments. Provide behavioral support and follow individual support plans. Assist with medication administration as permitted by training and applicable requirements. Maintain effective communication with individuals receiving services, their families, and members of the care team. Accurately document services provided and daily activities. Follow all company policies and procedures, NJ DDD requirements, and individual-specific support requirements. Use the required Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system to accurately record the start and end of each shift. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Fluency in Spanish; English communication skills are preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation preferred, especially for positions that require community-based support. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral needs, caregiving, or healthcare is preferred. Must be responsible, professional, compassionate, and able to work independently. Must successfully complete background checks, fingerprinting, drug screening, and other applicable NJ DDD requirements. Why Work with ALAY Home Care?
