Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team and work weekend and evening shifts. DSPs play a crucial role in providing daily care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves helping individuals achieve their personal goals, enhance their independence, and participate fully in their communities. We have full-time, part-time shifts available in all areas of Albuquerque and Corrales! We are interviewing immediately for our next evening/weekend paid training track next week! Key Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide support for community involvement and social activities. Implement individualized care plans and behavior management strategies. Document daily activities, progress, and any incidents. Foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and other team members. Assist with transportation to appointments, activities, and other community engagements. Encourage and support individuals in developing skills for independent living.
Qualifications:
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is helpful not not required. We provide paid training. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Be someone our clients can count on as a reliable support.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$16.75 - $18.75 per hour
