Bright Horizons, Inc. is looking for dependable, compassionate, and motivated individuals to join our Residential Services team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As a Residential DSP, you will work directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible while providing the support, encouragement, and consistency they need in their everyday lives. Experience is always valued, but just as important to us is finding people who are dependable, respectful, willing to learn, and genuinely enjoy helping others. What Does a Residential DSP Do? No two days are exactly the same! Depending on the needs of the individuals you support, your day may include: Supporting individuals with everyday routines and activities Encouraging independence and personal choice Assisting with meal preparation and household activities Supporting individuals with personal care and daily living needs Participating in community outings and activities Providing transportation as required by the position Supporting individuals in working toward personal goals Building positive and professional relationships with individuals served Completing required documentation and progress notes Following individual service plans and established support strategies Communicating with supervisors and other members of the support team Maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment Following medication, health, safety, and emergency procedures as applicable to the individual's needs Who Are We Looking For?
