Job Description
- The Role
- As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide essential, compassionate care to individuals who rely on your professional support. This position is more than just a job; it is a commitment to ethical conduct and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Activities of Daily Living:
- Assist with bathing, eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
Household Support:
- Help maintain a clean and safe home, including meal preparation, laundry, and grocery shopping.
Health & Medical:
- Assist with medication management (AWMD training required) and attend medical appointments as an advocate for the individual.
Community Integration:
- Provide safe transportation to community activities, recreational events, and social gatherings.
Documentation:
- Complete daily service notes, medication records, and incident reports accurately and timely using the iTherapydocs system.
Supervision:
- Adhere strictly to the supervision levels defined in each individual's service plan to ensure safety. ###
- Requirements
- To maintain our high standards of care, all DSPs must meet the following:
Age & Education:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
Documentation:
- Valid state-issued driver's license and current CPR/First Aid certification.
Vehicle:
- A reliable, clean, and safe working vehicle for work purposes and client transport.
Insurance:
- Maintain current automobile liability insurance at your own expense.
Communication:
- A functional cell phone with active voicemail for work-related coordination.
Background Checks:
- Successfully pass all required screenings, including the NM Employee Abuse Registry and criminal history fingerprinting. ###

Weekly Pay:
- Employees are paid every Friday via check.
