This vital role involves providing respectful, attentive, and personalized assistance to enhance independence, safety, and well-being. Whether working in residential care homes, assisted living facilities, or home settings, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver dedicated to delivering high-quality care with energy and enthusiasm. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support clients with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety procedures Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers and repositioning Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Ability to perform safe patient lifting practices and manual handling with heavy lifting when required Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, CPR, and first aid procedures Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation Capable of operating standard passenger vehicles for client transportation when needed Join us in providing energetic, dedicated care that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
