Job Description

Self-Direction DSP - Auburn Ny Area (Job #AT-LSTS) Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite services in Auburn, NY to two school age boys. They are generally sweet, easy going, and kind. They enjoy building blocks and Legos, watching movies, listening to music, learning new languages, and playing Minecraft. They are adventurous and enjoy playing outside and going swimming. We are looking for a patient, kind, and reliable individual to support them to give their family a well-deserved respite. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to assisting with transportation, meal preparation, and assisting with Personal Care. Prior experience a plus but not required- Guidance on activities and training will be provided by the family in conjunction with the agency supervisor. Valid NYS driver's license and a reliable vehicle required.
Pay Rate:
2:1 $20.50/hour; and 1:1 $18.50/hour All new hires must complete a five-hour initial training course online; the training rate is $17/hour.
Hours:
may vary; up to 9hrs/ weekly; Evening/ Afterschool hours during the week; Mondays and Tuesdays, and weekends preferred. Flexible schedule if necessary for the right fit. Must have a valid drivers license Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by
ARISE/EFR'S
technology policy.
