Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities and promoting their independence.

Duties:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and medication administration.
• Support individuals in achieving their goals and participating in community activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
• Advocate for resident rights and provide person-centered care.
• Help individuals with developmental disabilities navigate daily challenges and build life skills.

Skills:

• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of caregiving practices and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
• Proficiency in medication administration procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
• Familiarity with care systems and protocols.
