Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities and promoting their independence.Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and medication administration.
- Support individuals in achieving their goals and participating in community activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
- Advocate for resident rights and provide person-centered care.
- Help individuals with developmental disabilities navigate daily challenges and build life skills.
Skills:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of caregiving practices and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Proficiency in medication administration procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
- Familiarity with care systems and protocols.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$17.00- $18.
