Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Pay Rate:

$20.00/hour

Location:

Blauvelt, NY Key Duties Help individuals learn and develop daily living skills and habits. Assist individuals with basic personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, and other personal needs. Advocate for, encourage, guide, and teach individuals to express personal choice. Work Setting & Population Work is primarily in a group setting (8-10 consumers at a time) or 1-on-1 with a consumer. Support individuals with mental, behavioral, or physical disabilities. Work with populations ranging from children to adults and geriatrics. Must be willing to undergo a fingerprint background check.
