We are looking for a competent personal care assistant to support our residents in their everyday lives. If you're a compassionate, positive person who would like a fulfilling position, then this is a job for you. Experience in caring for the elderly and medication assistance will make you a strong candidate. This position requires hands on assistance with activities of daily living and light housekeeping. Responsibilities Ensure residents receive their medication on time. Be an organized person, able to complete required paperwork. Help residents dress, bathe, etc. Able to complete light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment. Provide emotional support. Inform supervisors about changes in resident's health. Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergencies. Able to work some weekend days. Skills Experience as personal care assistant is preferred but not required. Committed to health & safety of the residents. Able to make beds and do laundry. Well-organized and reliable. Excellent communication and people skills. Positive and compassionate attitude. Strong work ethics. High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license.
