Job Summary The Resident Care Assistant plays a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to our residents at Morgan Estates Assisted Living. This position involves assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and fostering a supportive environment that promotes their well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for senior care and the ability to work collaboratively with a dedicated team. We are looking for qualified staff to join our team! We have openings on the following shifts: Evenings Overnights Duties Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Maintain accurate records of resident care and communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members. Assist with social activities to enhance residents' quality of life and encourage social interaction. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents by following established health and safety protocols. Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies, utilizing first aid skills when necessary. Experience Previous experience in home care, personal care homes, or nursing homes is preferred. Familiarity with systems related to medication administration and resident care documentation is beneficial. Knowledge of first aid procedures and senior care best practices is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to assist residents compassionately while maintaining their dignity. A background in social work or related fields may be advantageous but is not required.
