Staff Home Health Aide VNS Health mileage reimbursement United States, York, Jericho Aug 22, 2026 Overview Overview We're looking for Staff Home Health Aides to be the heart of the care we provide our clients in Queens. As a Staff Home Health Aide with VNS Health Personal Care, you will provide exceptional care that our clients rely on to stay safe at home. Become a part of the reason we are a national leader in home care What You Will Do Provide personal care and support, including ambulation, transfers, ostomy care, and assistance with medical equipment and self-administered medication. Monitor vital signs, observe and report client conditions, and adhere to infection control practices. Assist with personal hygiene, nutrition, fluid intake, and light housekeeping. Ensures client rights and confidentiality. Qualifications Qualifications Be available to service clients in Long Island Towns Along the
Nassau-Suffolk Border:
Oyster Bay, Huntington, Babylon, Plainview, Melville, Hicksville, Farmingdale, Massapequa & Amityville. Satisfactory completion of York State Health Department approved HHA Training Program or Equivalency. Sixth (6) grade reading comprehension level. Writing and math skill level to the extent necessary for the successful and safe performance of required job functions. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Have a car and valid driver's license. Beavailable Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 8:00 pm) some weekends. Be willing to work on multiple short-hour cases (minimum 3 cases daily, mileage reimbursement offered). One (1) year of work experience preferred. Physical Requirements Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting adult clients. Standing and walking for extensive periods, as well as bending and climbing stairs. Commonly lifts, carries, and maneuvers items weighing more than 50 lbs.
Compensation:
