- Shift Supervisor is a working supervisory position responsible for supporting resident care while overseeing staff performance and operations during the assigned shift. This position works under the direction and supervision of the RN and in collaboration with other members of the resident-care team. The Senior HHA
- Shift Supervisor helps ensure that assigned services are completed safely, respectfully, promptly, and in accordance with each resident's plan of care, facility policies, and applicable requirements. The Senior HHA
- Shift Supervisor provides leadership to staff, communicates concerns to nursing or administration, assists with staff training, and helps maintain a safe, dignified, professional, and resident-centered environment.
- Shift Supervisor may provide direction, coaching, and documentation but may not independently issue formal disciplinary action unless specifically authorized by administration.
- Shift Supervisor is a working supervisory position responsible for supporting resident care and overseeing the HHA, PCA, and LPN staff on duty during the assigned shift. The position provides operational and administrative supervision to staff; clinical observation and direction remain under the RN. The Senior HHA
- Shift Supervisor communicates directly with the Administrator on Call, who will be either the RN or the Vice President of Assisted Living Services, regarding resident concerns, staffing issues, emergencies, incidents, policy violations, and other significant events.
- Shift Supervisor must: Be at least 18 years of age and demonstrate maturity and emotional and mental stability.
