He is outgoing and engaging and enjoys being social with others. He can be shy and quiet at first, but he quickly warms up to new people. When he becomes comfortable, he is quite outspoken and loves to share humor and laughter with others. He likes venturing into his community, especially to visit thrift shops and dollar stores, and he enjoys going to garage sales and yard sales. The ideal candidate is patient, personable, and understands that building trust takes time. The ideal candidate is open and willing to participate in activities that he enjoys. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency .

Hours and days of work:

Monday-Thursday 9AM-2:00PM. With some flexiability as agreed upon.

North Syracuse, NY Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community. Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred. New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community. Must have a valid driver's license Must be at least 18 years old Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
