You will provide personalized support that promotes independence, builds confidence, and helps individuals participate more fully in their homes and communities. No two days are exactly alike. Whether you're supporting someone with daily activities, helping them develop new skills, or simply being a dependable source of encouragement, your work plays an important role in helping individuals reach their fullest potential. What You'll Do Provide supervision, guidance, and encouragement during daily and skill-building activities Support individuals with activities of daily living, including meal preparation and personal hygiene when needed Follow and implement individualized service and support plans Build positive, respectful relationships with the individuals you support Encourage independence, community involvement, and personal growth Maintain accurate daily documentation and case notes Promote a safe, supportive, and respectful environment Work collaboratively with families, care teams, and other professionals to provide quality support Prioritize the health, safety, and overall well-being of the individuals in your care Maintain appropriate staff-to-client ratios and follow all required safety procedures What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organized and able to work effectively as part of a team A genuine interest in helping others and supporting individuals in achieving greater independence Ability to safely assist with lifting and transferring individuals of various weights, as well as lifting items up to 20 lbs.
