Job Description

We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing team in Suffolk County, NY. In this rewarding role, you'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in leading safe, independent, and fulfilling lives. Whether you have previous DSP experience or are looking to begin a meaningful career in human services, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support individuals in achieving personal goals and increasing independence. Administer medications as trained and authorized. Document services and complete daily progress notes accurately. Accompany individuals to medical appointments, community outings, and recreational activities. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment. Follow all agency policies and state regulations. Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, families, and healthcare professionals. Qualifications Must be authorized to work in the United States. High school diploma or GED. Valid New York State driver's license preferred (or required for positions involving transportation of individuals). Reliable transportation to travel to assigned worksites throughout Suffolk County. Ability to successfully complete a background check and all required pre-employment screenings. Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Aide (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or in a similar direct care role is preferred, but not required.
