Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare teams Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning, cooking, and cleanup to meet individual dietary needs Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care activities accurately in compliance with privacy standards like HIPAA and contribute to ongoing care plan development Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, and hospice or palliative care is advantageous Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are required or can be obtained upon hire Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work flexible shifts including evenings or weekends as needed Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient safety protocols is desirable A genuine passion for caregiving combined with patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude toward supporting others Join us in creating a caring community where every individual receives the respect and support they deserve.
