Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to assistance individuals with developmental disabilities. We have a 2nd Shift position in Geneva/Madison area. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Provide medication administration (we will train the right Candidates) Support residents with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning. Maintain a clean and safe environment Engage residents in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and mental well-being Follow all safety procedures including CPR and first aid protocols This role is essential for providing compassionate support that enhances residents' quality of life. Requirements Prior experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home health is highly preferred Certification in CPR and First Aid is required ( Will Train the right candidate) ; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident transfers Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Strong organizational skills for managing medication schedules, care plans, and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate support!
