In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, and the elderly assisting them in achieving greater independence and enhancing their quality of life. Your commitment to fostering a supportive environment will help empower our clients to live fulfilling lives. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals through tailored programs. Facilitate social interactions and community engagement by organizing outings and activities. Provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Document progress and maintain accurate records of client activities and needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Ideal candidates will possess experience or skills in the following areas: Assisted living or long-term care environments where you have developed caregiving skills. Home health services that involve direct patient care or support. Experience in hospice care settings is a plus for providing compassionate end-of-life support. Skills in meal preparation and cooking for individuals with dietary restrictions or preferences. A background working with people with disabilities is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to adapt to various needs.
