Job Description

Full-Time 3rd shift Supervisor Along with other shift Supervisors is responsible for the 24 hour a day operation of Residential Intermediate Care Facility homes (ICFs) to ensure provision of quality services to individuals. This primarily includes supervision and scheduling of staff, ensuring that adequate custodial/maintenance needs are met and monitoring the implementation of individual goals. Provide similar responsibility to other group home sites as a supervisor on-call on a regular or assigned basis. May supervise more than one home. Works closely with the Trainer, Residential Manager and Director to assure new hire on-boarding, new hire training and annual training is in compliance with DODD Licensure and Ohio Department of Health standards. Provides quality assurance oversight to assure Direct Support Professionals are operating within their training and providing quality resident care services. Focuses on communication, team building, and employee engagement. Must be available to work other shifts as needed for training, meetings, schedule vacancies, and any other job related duties. May assist in training direct support professionals and supervisors. Minimum one year experience with people with developmental disabilities or one year supervisory experience. Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, position and transfer. Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver's License and auto insurance as required by Board Policy. Completion of First Aid and CPR within 30 days of hire. Must successfully pass and maintain Delegated Nursing certification. Must complete Defensive Driving and pass On the Road Training. TB screening must be completed every year.
