Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide essential care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves supporting clients in their daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their independence. The position requires a commitment to patient personal care, safety procedures, and fostering a respectful and supportive environment. The shift is scheduled overnight from 8 PM to 8 AM, three or four days a week. Duties Assist individuals with personal care needs, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support Provide safe and effective patient care in accordance with established protocols Administer first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure client safety Support clients in daily activities, encouraging independence and community engagement Monitor clients' well-being throughout the shift, noting any changes or concerns Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents that occur during the shift Collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive support Uphold safety standards and ensure a clean, safe environment for clients at all times Skills Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities preferred Knowledge of personal care assistance techniques and safety procedures Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients Patience, empathy, and a respectful approach toward individuals with diverse needs Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work three or four nights per week on the midnight shift from 8 PM to 8

From $17.00 per hour
