Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
• Implement behavior management strategies and support individuals in developing appropriate social skills
• Utilize electronic systems to document and track individual progress and behaviors
• Drive individuals to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for individuals
• Lift and transfer individuals as needed, following proper lifting techniques

Requirements:

• Experience or education in social work or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavior management techniques is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team This position requires compassion, patience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
