Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability (if needed) specialized techniques to promote safety and comfort Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate documentation Engage residents through meaningful activities, socialization, and behavioral management strategies to enhance their well-being Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling to prevent injury for both residents and staff Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and assisting with meal preparation washing dishes Uphold residents' rights by respecting their autonomy, privacy, and personal preferences at all times Experience Prior assisted living or residential care home experience is highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities \Knowledge of medication administration, first aid, CPR certification, and safe patient lifting practices is preferred Familiarity with home & community care practices or long-term care environments is a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members in a compassionate manner Experience in behavior management and group home settings will support your success in this role Join us in providing exceptional care that enriches lives!
