Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to ensure health stability Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols to support client health needs Support clients with behavioral management strategies Operate standard passenger cars safely for client outings or appointments. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to promote healthy living Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, and adherence to safety standards Communicate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care Support clients in community activities and recreational outings to foster social engagement Document care activities accurately in compliance with agency policies and state regulations Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or residential care homes is highly desirable Knowledge of assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental or Intellectual disabilities Certifications in CPR and First Aid are required; additional certifications in medication management or behavior management are a plus (We will provide training) Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively Strong communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and team members Valid driver's license with experience operating standard passenger vehicles for client outings Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable populations in home & community settings Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to providing exceptional care!
