Job Description

Dreamz Work is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide supportive living services to a male individual with developmental disabilities. The individual has expressed a strong preference for a male caregiver to support them with personal needs and other aspects of their daily life. As a DSP, you will provide essential support to help this individual live as independently as possible in their own home and community.
Responsibilities include:
Providing support with meal preparation and household tasks Accompanying the individual to appointments, grocery shopping, and activities Facilitating community inclusion and social interaction Implementing individual support plans Providing emotional support and companionship
Qualifications:
Experience providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Ability to follow instructions and work independently Reliable transportation Must be able to pass a background check Valid Oregon Driver's License Personal vehicle with current insurance coverage Good driving record Current CPR/First Aid card Current Oregon Intervention Systems (OIS) certification preferred.
