Job Summary Make a Difference While Having Fun! We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and engaging Companion Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to an adult with Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) in the Cochranville, PA area. This position focuses on helping the individual enjoy meaningful leisure activities and build social connections. If you enjoy making a positive impact while encouraging independence we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Provide companionship and positive social interaction. Assist the individual in participating in activities in home environment Encourage independence while ensuring health and safety. Supporting the individual in daily care activities i.e. hygiene, meal prep, and meds Support the individual in pursuing hobbies, interests, and leisure activities. Maintain professional communication with the support team. Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) is preferred but not required. Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance. Ability to pass required background clearances and complete agency training.
