Our Community Participation Support program helps individuals build independence and confidence by developing daily living skills, prevocational skills, and meaningful connections within their community. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact while helping the individuals we support experience greater independence, participation, and quality of life. As a Community Participation Support Staff member, you will: Engage participants in meaningful activities that promote independence and personal growth. Teach and reinforce daily living, social, prevocational, and community-based skills. Follow and implement the goals and objectives outlined in each participant's Individual Support Plan (ISP). Support individuals as they participate in activities throughout the community. Encourage participants to develop confidence, independence, and appropriate social skills. What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is someone who is: Positive, energetic, and dependable. Able to engage participants and encourage them to learn and participate. Comfortable driving a company vehicle and participating in community activities. Able to work independently while also being part of a supportive team. Prior caregiving, direct support, human services, or related experience is preferred, but not required.
