Job Summary:
- As a Home Care Aide, you will be providing essential assistance to individuals in the comfort of their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Supporting clients with mobility and light exercises.
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding when necessary.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assisting with medication reminders and ensuring a safe environment.
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings, if required.
Requirements:
- A compassionate and caring nature.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Must pass a background check and screening process.
- Applicants who have not lived in the state of PA for the last 2 years will be required to also have and FBI clearances done.
- A Child Abuse Cleanance is also required for any clients where a child lives in the home.
- Also required is one of the following: two step TB test, a TB chest x-ray or a QuantiFERON gold TB blood test.
