Overview:

In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful, and personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether working in a home setting, assisted living facility, or group home environment, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver dedicated to enhancing quality of life through attentive support and compassionate service. Duties Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Duties:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing. Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe for changes in condition or behavior Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking to promote healthy living Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning patient areas and laundry Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Qualifications Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Qualifications:
Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid required, training provided if certificate unavaliable; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia (including Alzheimer's) or memory care needs is desirable Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, residents' families, and other caregivers Background checks are standard Join us to provide essential care that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
