Job Summary CareGivers Plus has been serving our Valley seniors since 1994. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/Personal Care Assistants to provide exceptional support to seniors wishing to age in place at home. This role involves assisting aging clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will be energetic, have a strong work ethic, excellent attendance and be committed to delivering personalized care that enhances quality of life. Working with seniors you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for those you serve. Part and Full time schedules are available. Caregivers with more flexibility in their work availability have more hour opportunities. Caregivers typically visit home to home during their individual works days. As we travel home to home, a valid driver's license and transportation is required. Caregivers usually visit more than one client daily/weekly to achieve their desired hourly goals. Client location range from Hermitage, Sharon, Sharpsville, Farrell, Greenville and Jamestown. Clients have varied rates of reimbursement which translates to our base rate being $14.00 an hour with some clients having a higher rate. Most caregivers have multiple clients/multiple rates of pay. Visits can go as high at $18.00, though not all visits will be this high, expect a combination of variable rates between $14-$17.

• Higher rates are usually offered to us for clients who need a higher level of care and may live outside the Hermitage area. Background checks, drug screen and TB tests are required. Those with currentTB testing can be fast tracked. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Monitor patients' health and observe and report any changes in condition. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of client spaces, light housekeeping and laundry. Document care provided accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and assist with care plan updates as needed and communicate with the office. Provide safety supervision, respite care, socialization and companionship. Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings preferred Must be comfortable assisting male and female clients with their personal care needs. Must be comfortable working in homes where there may be pets. Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs effectively Experience working with individuals with memory care needs highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and respecting client confidentiality Excellent attendance Join our amazing team of caregivers if you're passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives!
