Position Summary The Direct Support Professional is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, implementing individualized treatment plans, supporting activities of daily living, utilizing positive behavior supports, assisting with medication administration (when certified), maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to promote recovery, independence, and successful reintegration into home and community settings. The Specialized Therapeutic Residence for Intellectual and Developmental Empowerment (STRIDE) unit is a Joint Commission accredited residential program for children who have intensive needs requiring a longer length of stay in treatment.
