Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients by providing compassionate, personalized care in their homes. This vital role offers an opportunity to support individuals across various stages of life, including seniors, those with disabilities, and patients receiving end-of-life care. As a Home Health Aide, you will be instrumental in promoting independence, dignity, and comfort while ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and regulations. Your energetic approach and commitment to patient well-being will help create a positive, supportive environment for those in your care. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Support medication reminder under supervision and ensure proper documentation in electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral support Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and document all care activities accurately in medical records Support family members and caregivers through effective communication and education about patient needs and safety measures Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment Follow home healthcare regulations and best practices for infection control, safety procedures, and emergency response including CPR and first aid Experience Prior experience working as a Home Health Aide or in assisted living facilities is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in geriatrics enhances your ability to deliver specialized care Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and home health care regulations is essential Previous experience providing hospice or end-of-life care demonstrates compassion and resilience in sensitive situations Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams Join us to bring energy, compassion, and professionalism into every patient interaction.
