Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities and personal care in the Harleysville, Souderton, Sellersville, Gilbertsville, Quakertown and surrounding ares. This energetic role involves working closely with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those in long-term care settings to promote independence, dignity, and well-being. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met. Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring hygiene standards are upheld Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems or other documentation tools Follow care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care strategies Support residents' participation in social activities and community outings when appropriate Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in condition by following established protocols such as first aid or CPR procedures Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs, medication administration, or memory care is highly valued Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support techniques, and behavior management strategies is advantageous Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation practices in healthcare settings is a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics enhances your ability to provide personalized care Valid certifications such as CPR and First Aid are s plus Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact through caregiving!
