Full-time About the Role Success Rehabilitation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional II (DSP2)/Residential Program Coordinator (RPC). In this full-time role, you will advocate for clients by assisting them in the development of social and daily living skills. Working directly with the Program Administrator, Residential Program Manager, and Clinical Manager, you will ensure clients' basic needs are appropriately met and predicted outcomes are implemented. This advanced position involves supervisory responsibilities, requiring you to act as a Team Leader, Unit/Section Leader, and Job Coach. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision Function as a Unit, Section, or Team Leader by planning monthly activities, weekly meal plans, and grocery shopping. Monitor client plans, supervise assigned staff, organize daily activities, and manage client funds as necessary. Provide ongoing feedback to DSP1s as needed. Provide assistance to Residential Program Managers in annual reviews by completing the DSP1 portion of the review. Provide mentoring and training support to new hires. Direct Client Support (ADLs) Assure the client's schedule is followed. Prompt and assist clients in all aspects of daily living. Provide assistance with showering, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, apartment/room maintenance, and laundry. Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary. Implement Behavioral Plans. Health & Medication Management Assist with medication administration and monitor compliance for all unit staff after successful completion of state-approved training and regulatory practicums. Act as a trained medication practicum observer and investigate medication errors once identified. Quality of Life & Transportation Provide transportation for medical appointments, food shopping, approved home visits, and personal or company leisure activities. Ensure client safety in company vehicles by using all appropriate safety restraints. Assist clients during specialized Quality of Life (QoL) outings and provide job coaching assistance as outlined by Vocational Specialists. Report and document all outing-related issues in a timely manner to Residential Program Managers and Vocational Specialists. Safety & Compliance Conduct fire drills per the company schedule and complete proper documentation. Identify safety and maintenance needs, regularly review unit cleanliness, and assure proper supplies are in the unit. Follow all safety policies, including Emergency Procedures, Infection Control, Crisis Management techniques, and Bloodborne Pathogen Guidelines/Universal Precautions. Implement and document outcome data as specified by the Clinical Team. Promptly report all significant incidents, crisis situations, and developments during the shift per the chain of command, and document them on required forms. Qualifications & Requirements Meets all qualifications of a Direct Support Professional I. Minimum 1 year of experience at SRI with performance ratings of Proficient or Advanced. Valid Driver's License. Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with other staff and clients. Good verbal and written communication skills. Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Human Supports preferred. Have and maintain annually CBIS Certification or Success Brain Injury Certificate program (both of which include 10 hours of brain injury education per year) preferred.
