Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Part-Time Direct Support Professional and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized support to help individuals achieve greater independence, enhance their daily living skills, and participate actively in their communities. This position offers an energizing opportunity to foster growth, promote positive behaviors, and empower those you serve through engaging and respectful care. Duties Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation (breakfast & lunch), and light cleaning ensuring comfort and dignity. Implement behavior management strategies to support positive behaviors and address challenging behaviors effectively. Facilitate participation in community outings, recreational activities, and social events to promote community integration. Collect data on progress, behaviors, and service delivery to inform care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or behavioral health needs is highly preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation a must Compassion and positive interactions is a must To be able to follow directions and be a self-motivator Certified in 1st aid/cpr is a plus but will train if not Must pass a drug test and have a physical with TB prior to hire
