Delaware Valley Residential Care is currently seeking experienced Resident Care Assistants to assist our Program Participants with all aspects of daily living.

Responsibilities:

Assist Residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, and other activities of daily living Provide assistance with serving meals and assist residents with eating Provide Residents assistance in transferring from chair to bed, chair to toilet, ect Assist Residents to and from structured day programming Encourage participation in; activities, outings, and other programs Assist the therapists with group activities

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, required 3-5 years experience in Caregiving, preferred Must be able to weather the elements, as travel outside from resident apartment on campus to day center is required Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for both team members and participants Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Demonstrated ability to remain calm in tense and high-pressure situations Proven track record of timeliness and accountability
