All shifts available (PRN) About the Role Are you compassionate, patient, and dedicated to empowering others? We are looking for caring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Autism directly in their home environments. In this role, you won't just be providing care-you will be building meaningful relationships, fostering independence, and helping residents thrive in their communities.
Key Responsibilities CompanionshipEngagement:
Spend quality, meaningful time with residents to support their daily routines and personal interests.
Daily Living Support:
Provide minimal assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
HealthSafety:
Administer medication reminders and assist with safe transportation to and from appointments when necessary.
Individualized CareCollaboration:
Understand and respect each resident's unique personality, behaviors, and needs. Actively contribute your own insights and ideas to their personalized support plans.
QualificationsRequirements Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certifications:
Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Licensure:
Valid Driver's License.
Soft Skills:
Strong empathy, active listening, and a collaborative spirit.
