Overview Support Service Provider (SSP) -

Part-Time:

6.5 hours (8:45 to 3:15) on either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (preferably Tuesday). Needed.

In-Home/Community-Based We are seeking a patient, reliable, and compassionate Support Service Provider (SSP) to assist a 22-year-old gentleman with Intellectual Disabilities in navigating daily life, increasing independence, and engaging in community activities. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on quality of life, focusing on building skills, fostering social engagement, and supporting daily routines.

What You Will Do:

• Provide 1-on-1 support in the home and community to foster independence.
• Assist with daily living skills, such as meal preparation, personal care, going to the Gym to work out, and routines.
• Transport and accompany the individual to recreational activities, shopping, or appointments.
• Support engagement in community life and encourage social interaction. Implement personalized support strategies to help manage sensory processing and improve communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, goals, and daily progress.
• Always promote safety.

What We Are Looking For :

Compassion and Patience:

A genuine desire to support an adult with Intellectual Disabilities.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills to understand unique needs.

Experience:

Previous experience working with adults with autism or intellectual disabilities is preferred but not required. We value passion and a positive attitude.

Reliability:

Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Logistics:

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (preferred for community outings)

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 10.0 per week
